when using wago's for downlight guys many cables can actualy fit in the wagobox?
also a guy i worked with said you should loop the ciruit , but what stops you from going all directions, if have lots of lights??/?
well, being a dinosaur, i loop from light to light, using an ashley 2" 4 terminal JB at each, with about 1ft. of H/R flex to the downlight.
I have a growing folder of various laminated (Nerdy), reference sheets. The Part P Assessor spotted it last time and got very excited with himself! If you go on Wagobox website there is a nice printable chart showing all the configurations you can fit into a box, along with descriptions. Print it in colour and laminate it for that great "nerdy" feeling.![]()
its all very well buyin em.......i was advised from a well known forum member that if i am ever back at the elex show....and i go past the wago jar....i should grab a large fistfull......Glad I'm not the only one. I did buy some wagos the other day tho... Let see if I use them. So far I've only used 2 to extend a circuit in a CU
After some trial and much error I've settled on Wago connectors with the IP20 Q12 junction boxes you can get from Toolstation - and sometimes the LINE junction boxes when the cables in and out can't easily be clipped - for downlights, etc.
I've pretty much given up on Wago boxes - they're far to cramped, or maybe I just lack the dexterity.... I'm convinced there's a design tolerance problem with the newer smaller 'Light' Wago boxes as I struggled to get the lid closed every time - even on just a couple of 1.0mm2 cables.
well thats what i plan todo, just use the wago junction box to take l-n-e too, then loop the lights, will 2 x 1.5 heat resistant flex fit in these connection built onto lights????
Are you talking about the new WAGOLITE box or the standard WAGOBOX?
I assume you are talking about having a "spider" lighting circuit as opposed to a radial?
