On my recent visit too the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia i was shocked too see the standard of firstly the work and secondly the site. I wont mention names but the site is the biggest in The Kingdom and well it friggtend me. The guys doing the install are all Indian/Pakistani, no offence to my fellow asian sparks in the UK but out there its not the best quality of work at all, I was asked to go round and snag 6 floors in one building first thing was how aware i suddenly became that i was the only white guy on site, having long hair too made me a bit of a spectacle for the guys on site too look at in amazement, intimidating hell yeah. So i snag the work which was all 25mm steel tube and knockout boxes of 1000 points i only signed of 120. The tube fittings they use are the push on type which i could pull apart with my fingers. Second problem out there is health and safety, there is none basicly, i walked up a stair case that had no hand rails at all. There idea of an extension lead is just crazy, i saw a 230v plug top on a drill with a extension lead twisted and taped to the prongs of the plug top, they do the twisting and taping whilst the lead is plugged in at the other end yeah thats right working live. Lucky for me I will be working in a office, the boys on the install earn about ÂŁ300 a month, my contract says I will be getting 4k a month how mad is that. Any way i will try n keep in touch if i can photos will appear of site madness but as they are well funny about photos i will see what i can do.

Good point, they do look a bit 6mm-ish when you mention it, and that is not going to last long enough for a D63 to trip! It might, on a good day...
