Am after a wall chaser - looking at the Makita SG1250 - any body got any advise either way??

What are you chasing? Occupied? Plaster and house brick? I've made chases at a dentists house with his wife and child watching. Very little dust airborne. What's your situation?

And given the pain and devastation in my mouth when I leave the dentist's surgery, mine has his own tools very well suited to gouging a channel in plaster...and also a Hoover that can very effectively clean my wallet out as well.

Multi master with masonry bit imported from Canada( eBay jobby) mate on heavy duty vac. Job done , dentist got a first good impression. Job completed with all else expected. Great marketing among his mates.

Sounds interesting, I've had a quick dig and there a few around that claim to do masonary. Is it diamond or carbide? do you have a link to the one you got?
