Hello everyone

What wall chasers do you guys use and extraction

is the hilti any good also what hoover etc any help be great is there such a thing as dust free what width chases can I get??

I've got the Hilti and the matching Vac, brilliant tool weight is the real issue. I have found that if you mark up as much as possible where all the chases are going, then set the vac up in the centre of the room and get around all the chases as quick as possible, then your arms have a slight chance of not falling off with fatigue!. Had a luxury job yesterday chasing a driveway, why can't sockets be mounted on the floor!. As for the Bosch as said above it's appalling doesn't go deep enough or wide enough only plus side weight, light as a feather, as for the others no experience first hand. The Hilti is worth the money, and if you want to save a bit don't bother with there vac unless you really want the 110v socket, you can get the identical vac from Nuflisk alto who incidentally make them for Hilti and half the price. cheers

Ive got a silverline one looks like a circular saw ,and cost me seventy quid ,cuts to 44mm.I think its brilliant for the price but you need good dust extraction.Only using an old dyson which isnt really up to the job!

aldi in stafford had them for ages then in the bargain baskets about 2 months ago ..thay will be around again like all the stuff thay sell .. it as vacume nozzle as well..lidl sells one with 2 sets of spareblades as well

i have a set of thoe sds drill bits thay was selling off last month about 1mtr long 1" thick 3 bits ÂŁ10.00
as long you go slow thay are ok . or just use them for cable pullers ...long enough and remember to use gloves for pulling cables back ;)

Try the sparky one from screwfix c.ÂŁ120 with an erbauer vacuum with power take off at about ÂŁ60. Don't use a dyson as they don't like very fine dust.

I find the Silverline chaser more than good enough for intermittent use, it's only been out the box 4 times but it's got a hell of a lot of grunt for ÂŁ75. Got the dust extractor connected up to a Hitachi QB35 vac - yep both 240v - and it's a good combination.

They've gone up a bit since I bought mine (that's life) but would still recommend them both. Probably not the Silverline if you're using it daily though, maybe the AEG or Makita wall chaser (NOT the Bosch, awkward bloody thing). Hitachi extractor is a gem and will take a right old pounding whatever you plug into it.

and

Hitachi Qb35e Wet / Dry Vacuum Cleaner 1100w 240v at Toolbay Direct

Sorted.
