Hey Guys.
Trying to find a bit of information regarding the kewtechbrand and their warranty policy so here goes!
I have a kt64 & looking to upgrade to the kt65, why!Earth Resistance & Save facility.. I’ve had a look at the prices new and at £715 all in (average price new) I have a few obligations here & there and just cannot free up that sort of cash as I have other stuff I need. I’ve had communications with a few people selling on ebay. These few I’ve dealt with have kt65s for sale that are BNIB however as these machines come with the end of line calibration and has now expired due to the machines being purchased, say a year ago and not being used, I’m wondering how it all works.
Can anyone offer advice on whether the warranty starts from when the warranty document is actually filled in or whether it is from time of purchase?
Is it part of the warranty policy document that the instrument has to be recalibrated after the first year to stay within the warranty terms issued by the manufacturer?
Although I may be saving a £100 plus perhaps, is it worth it and will I be able to redeem the warranty if I was to buy one from thesesellers. I’d be spending £550 - £600 so really need the warranty if anything is to wrong.
Would it be that I need the actual purchase receipt & place of purchase to redeem the warranty.. Ultimately am I better off just getting a brand new one from a reliable source.
Your guidance is appreciated
Cheers
