WB System boiler terminals.

Hi chaps,

Got one of these to wire up but its been a little while since ive done one.

Tell me, the Ls & Ns terminals on the boiler can be used as the feeds for the controls ie room stat, valve, programmer etc?

Alternatively, i can use the existing supply in the wiring centre, and drop a LNE & SwL to connect onto Lr?

Exactly as you said jason,Ls is just a common,Ns neutral,Lr switched live in boiler,maybe use existing wiring centre,has the system got pump overun,if so i think that wb has to have pump wired back to boiler.

Its a system boiler and so the existing pump in the airing cupboard is being removed.

Their terminology is a little strange Ls = Live Supply, Lr = Live Return, Ns = Neutral Supply, Nr = Neutral Return. Where the returns are from the stat. If there is an external frost stat (the new ones have an internal frost stat) to wire there is a separate set of terminals for that marked Fr, Fs.

So i am thinking the switched live to the boiler from the wiring centre is Lr with the linked removed?

Yes Lr is switched live so remove the link with Ls,jobs a goodun
