An update W2D1…on my dad and his new medication

Todays subject is an update on my dad, and a newly discovered medical treatment for high blood pressure…
That is… having a stroke.


He’s been in hospital 3 weeks now, his blood pressure is within normal range, and he’s off the BP pills he’s been on for the last 20 years.

Now if we can just keep him off the ciggies, I think he’s going to be better off at home now than he’s ever been.


We applied for a blue parking badge for him when he gets out, and the old sod is going to be too healthy to get one

Just post as normal mate I've changed the thread title to something more descriptive.

As for your dad if he can stay off them it'll pay long term. My mates been on them 45 years and the slightest knock he ends up with a blood bag attached to him that nurses have to cut and scrape all clots out and all sorts!

Although he's 82 and his age will be part of the problem! Although his mind is as sharp as mine 10 years ago! So I'm knackered.
