I can assure you, there is and was the utmost respect for Bradford and their success in the league cup competition.because success is what they had and deserved, worthy runners up,rather than beaten finalists
There is no gloating from the Swans, because to a man we are very aware of how close we came not only tp probable relegation from the league (with almost the last kick of the last game)but to extinction as a club
Good tidings came from that day onward and some 10 years later, the Swans are doing well both on and off the field, that has got to be a big incentive to all clubs in the lower divisions
The sending off was unfortunate, but the referee has his hands tied,I heard an explanation on the radio, the rules and his own refereeing future made it an absolute certainty he acted the way he did
Micheal Laudrup will be targeted by the big names, but I can't see him leaving for at least one year,he has a good team, there is European football to come and players will be tempted to sign for Swansea
I listened to 5 live radio that evening and the comments by the Bradford fans who were on their way home, they were an absolute credit to what being a supporter means.these were real fans with a real club, not a rich mans playclub like so many nowadays
Well done to Bradford and may you concentrate now on the league and who knows, there are still many games to play and promotion is still possible
