I called western power to come and sort the earth out for a customer, so they said we only do tn-c-s pme. when the chap came he did a tn-s with a strap on the cable!! i said to the guy thats a tn-s he said no its a pme.
what do i but on the EIC Tn-s.
also he said that they only fit a max of 80amp cut any bigger will need 3 phase is that true?

Hi ggf.

Well Western Power did a TN-S for me two weeks ago.

Make sure you have a good look at the mains head/cut-out. If the earthing conductor is coming out from above or beside the neutral, then it'll be PME.

I've not been told about the 80A limit on the main fuse by them and i deal with them quite a bit. Phone them up and ask for a 100A fuse again and give them a different address and name and see what they say this time!
