beefheart

have any of you had the wp letters yet stating 3.68 is the absolute max before dno will start charging , thats the emphasis of the letter ie until investigation and time delay nothing more ...take heed

If I get charged for checking if a 4kWp system is okay then I will get very ****ed off very quickly.

If this happens then we need to get an industry-wide petition demanding that 4kWP and not 16A be the G83 limit.

To have a G83 limit of 3.68kW and a FITs ceiling of 4kWp is ludicrous - especially when the other 320w is subject to DNO charges. The idea that a 16A system can be installed and DNO need not be pre-notified but then suggest that a 16.2A system requires in depth investigation is pathetic.

SSE are the best DNO imo. New changes and no charges for 4kw, very sensible approach imo.
We will carry out a limited network study for single installations up to 4kW and for multiple installations up to a maximum of six where the the output of any single installation is 4kW or less and the multiple installations are balanced across all the available phases, i.e. L1, L2 and L3. Our connection offer for these applications will be free of charge where there is no requirement for work to take place to, for example, reinforce our network to allow the connection.
