I have a client that is building a wet room from and existing bathroom / toilet.
The room is 1.8 mtrs x 2.5 mtrs
In one corner there is a shower area with a movable shower head and there are no walls / screens around the shower area as it is for a disabled lady and the nurses need access.
Now, on the opposite wall to the shower there is an existing 230 volt fan at high level 2.2 mtrs AFFL, so this is in effect 1.8 mtrs from the shower head when it is on its holder and next to that is a fused spur as the supply for some reason is from the ring upstairs. This then feeds a controller and a high level humidistat in the diagonal corner to the shower unit...still with me?
Now, I suggested that it would be a good idea to get rid of the spur, take the supply from the lighting, put the isolator outside the bathroom and also put in a 12 volt humidistat fan..that would be job done.
Client wants to keep the original setup, particularly the controller, it is 25 years old but works well but the regs dont really show anything for this setup.
Any help would be great
