Don't seem to see we have one or any posts about one!
would it break any copy write of anything to have a downloads section for software and things like electrical software can be shared. example, i have a good estimator software i designed and im looking for some cable calc software. you can do free and paid downloads?
an idea worth thinking about?

see some times I have a bright idea, but usually after I forgot to test the circuit.

Generally we could breach copyright laws easily and it'd have to be heavily monitored. Somebody always owns the original version somewhere, and if it isn't you, and isn't us, we should even be uploading it (which is making a copy on the net) let alone downloading it again and again.

I can look into a way of doing this and making the odd deals with the developers perhaps, maybe even a shop section with a free section for demos and open source stuff. Let me know if that would be suitable for you.

I brought this up months ago, along with the idea of a member created wiki-like area as I found myself and other members kept repeating themselves again and again. But it never goes anywhere.

Open source is good saves every one looking high and low over the net for relevant software to our job description. could be download for only software made by users. If that would work?

I've done my best.....as much as only 4 days ago infact.;)

That is very cool. It would be the end user software that would make that the absolute king.
