What about something like a 'Tip of the Week'? One of the mentors/admins posting a handy hint, maybe even collate them in a thread. No need for deep philosophy, just a lesson from your experience that might not necessarily come up in the training courses, or something that just makes life easier on the job.
PS: For example, one of my TAFE teachers gave us the hint to leave about a foot of tail behind any new outlets. That way, when the owner inevitably decides they want it eight inches to the right, you're bang onto the job. You look like a genius, HO is happy cause he got what he wanted and you've just made an easy 30 quid.
