.... explaining to a 'satisfied customer' that this really isn't the point?
I was browsing the Electric/Screw/Plumb fix site to see what offers they had on and I clicked on one of the Wylex 10-way offers. I don't use Wylex, but I was nosing at what was included (Marbo sockets BTW). Anyway, I scrolled down to the reviews and came across this :-
"electrician installed unit and it found a fault with my wiring straight away. so it does the job and looks neat and tidy. Exellent value with the free sockets, switches and MCBs"
I wish I'd known that was all I needed to do instead of messing about checking the wiring before I fitted a CU. Might have saved me the money on an MFT too.
