Hey, Im currently doing the C&G lv 2 2330 and am trying to do the what seems impossible atm and get a company. Anyway it seems its unlikely that im gonna get one and im thinking about what course I should do next year. I was going to do the Lv3 but ive been told after this year its getting scrapped and that if i wanted to do it i'd have to apply for it before June. What im basically asking is what is the better option for me in my position, doing the Lv 3 or the course thats sposed to be replacing it?

I advise the level 3 2330. All your evidence will be transferred over so continue on with what you are doing I suggest. The 2357 as far as I'm aware is incomplete and may come out later than expected. You could be waiting well into next year until available from what I've read.

The course that is replacing the level 3 (2357) is only for those working in the industry. There is no replacement level 3 technical certificate.

The only real option from level 2 is the BTEC Nat Dip Electrical, but this is really a feeder into University rather than a vocational qualification.

If you have the chance, my advice is enrol on the 2330 level 3 while you can.
