a furnace that draws 105Kwatt on 44ovolts

what diameter cable to I need?

I think my firm don't know what they are doing!!

Found a handy looking quick guide at csecables.com, multicores in free air you're looking at 50mm2.
I've terminated bigger but was a wee bit scared at first

talking of big cables can anyone else cut a 4 core 300mm aluminium in one go with a hacksaw? once and once only never again lol

Is the furnace resistive 3 phase or induction single phase? I’ve worked on both up to 2.6MW but I need to know what we’re looking at. At 105KW it could be induction. It would help to know the manufacturer.

Thanks for the help guys and Tony, I'll ask the question

(im my firm its a case of too many chiefs not enough people of an indigenous nature)
