Hi i've got the following :-
NVQ Level 2
C&G 2330 Level 2

I'm currently doing my 3 day 17th Edition Course
And going to do my C&G 2230 Level 3 course in September

What else would i need?
Thanks

JIB do not require 2391 except for Approved status (with two years experience as JIB graded Electrician). You can be graded as an Electrician without the 2391.

You would require NVQ3 for the lolJIB to grade you as an electrician and 2391 + however many years it is now trade experience(2 i think) for Approved Electrician.

Whats AM2?

Achievement Measurement 2. It is a Practical Skills Test used to demonstrate that you are able to to correctly and safely install electrotechnical systems (industrial, commerical and domestic etc.), as well as inspect and test, diagnose faults etc. It takes three days to complete and is administered by the NET (National Electrotechnical Training?).

It is required as part of your NVQ Level 3.

if ya working for yaself ya dont need all tht be fully qualified all ya realy need is level 2 2330 2392 inspection and testing and ya 17th edition cant see the point in gettin am2 nvq3 and to be honest its all waste of time cos if ya just starting out u'll never get nvq 3 and to add to all tht u'll probley need a water heath card and a skill card thts without JIB its geetin pathetic, anyways cos ya need to be workin as a sparks trouble is tho thy want take ya on cos thy'll just end up sayin ya got no experience the electrical companys are a gettin a joke these days, it seems to me the only peeps mkin money out of it these days are the training providers and the scheme providers
