about to start a job that has a timber frame the centres are 600mm the sockets land in the middle so one dry lines or fixes knoggings right the timbers are 150mm by 50mm filled up by 125cm kingspan insolation 25mm left to the edge of the plaster board how would you support your cables would you cut in to the insolation for conduit how would you fix! would clip down the side of the timber but then the cables are not above the socket about 250mm either side that's no good so do you cap over and pin the cables to the insulation but that's only 37mm back give or take so do you cut the Kingspan making a void but then should cut this poor work manship thou so who designs it should allow for this. what about the roof than over 40 down lights to go over an area of 25m by 5 m on a cold roof system lots of holes to made in to the insulation did the designer look at the preposed drawings this is grand design with grand mis communication and we have the stress of sorting it out, any thoughts how others get over this problem. warm roof above simple and thicker walls with a back board for fixing against. :annoyed:
