At the minute I currently use a handheld Laser Level (Black and Decker DIY jobby) however looking at getting something more substantial and thinking something like a rotary laser level or similar

Any thoughts appreciated

Cheers
Ian

I use a tape measure and a pencil.
My dad uses laser level things, as long as you can get one that proves to be square then you're set. I used one a couple of times but gave up as the plasterer I was working with could never get the ceiling flat, which meant to the eye it would always look out.

try and find a good cheap dewalt Bosch or Makita they are excellent. Picked up my Dewalt for ÂŁ40 boxed off Gumtree

But i also use a Ryobi with a Powered "sucker" that hold itself onto walls and ceilings. This was ÂŁ10 off ebay !

I'd buy it just to play with it!!

I use good old tape, pencil and chalk line aswell as a Dewalt laser.

Most rooms are never square so sometimes they need to be tweaked to make the job look right.
