What do you like most about electrical work?

For me its lighting, have just finished on a school contract where individual fittings were dimmable, the teachers switch controlled the first couple of rows, all tied in to remote controls. Was a nice one to work on an quite taxing, Good experience aswell.

Customers who think its not worth money, probably because they don't see how much work goes into it thats in the walls and floors before it gets to that one extra light or something that should be a five minute job to them, and love the fact you need to pay a scheme an extortionate amount of money before you can start working that year. And all the quallies we have to get to be deemed competent that customers again don't understand then moan how much it's going to cost them, as most want something for nothing. Love electrical work me......I do actually enjoy it most of the time when the points above are not applicable.

getting paid at the end of a job is a like. a pet hate, believe it or not, is working in pubs. they want it all doing for next to nothing, and want a satisfactory EICR on an installation that should have been condemned in WWII.

I like doing electrical work, because it is easier, cleaner and much better paid than doing mechanical work.

I love the sheer power of the invisible force, or whatever it is, of electricity.
That and its side kick, magnetism, the things that it can do.
Imagine a world without electricity now, may as well live in caves with plumbers!
