New to the forum, so hello everyone!
I thought you might like to see some interesting pictures I've taken yesterday of an installation on a Camp site. I'm now in the process of writing a report for the customer who is being taken to Court by the Electrician (and I use that term very loosely!) who completed the works for non-payment of the whole bill. (£1000 has been paid off the bill). Because the report is for Legal Action, can anyone assist me in the exact regulation failures each fault comes under... I am a fully qualified electrician of 20 years and have never seen such poor workmanship, There's a few reg codes I'm struggling to find in order to have the correct regulation linked to the photos, ie meter tail lengths - these are approximately 10metres long, unfused!!! also, use of connector blocks.

I think you're going to need a secretary to do all the writing/typing

but this is it....you dont waste time going through each circuit on a board like that...just fail it all....
then give him a price for remedials...
look, i`m not in the habit of just failing stuff here n there...far from it....in fact i will look for any way i can (as far as is reasonably practicable) to pass an existing install...or if its a case of a bit of tidying up here n there..then so be it...a (3) if you like...
but that board is a load of old b0ll0cks......
most of the other stuff can just be resited outside the zones....

I agree with this one, Bit of a waste of time testing everything. Its a fail regardless
