Got chatting to a plumber on site, he told me that he did an installation back last year, the customer also had a rewire at the same time 2 bed empty house, the sparks came to quote. He told them if they chased the Walls, take the floors up and drill the joist he could do the job cheaper.they took his arm off. He quoted £4500. Im still gob smacked

Why didn't he get them to put the cables in as well. I hate to think what price he'd have quoted to do the whole job himself.

and I get blown out of the water for quoting £3200 for a 5 bed, 2 bath house with outside lighting and a swimming pool filtration unit
