Hi new memeber here and not the most experianced so was hoping someone could shed some light on what this earth supply is?

Got a Ze reading of 0.10 and a continuity of 0.6 from the incoming neutral to the met (both with the bonds disconnected)
Both the 16mm black and 6mm g+y earth go straight into the ground behind that black capping with the main income.

What ya think?
Think the supplier would know??

might be sweated on the incomer sheath, if it,s lead. best way is phone DNO as wirepuller says, unless you can prise back the capping to see what's what, but be careful of disturbing the incomer

Phoned edf, they said phone the supplier, supplier said phone edf, edf said its def the supplier who should know. An hour later the supplier tells me its a tnc-s! Hooray!! Had my niceic assesment the other day and he said that if the earth conducter is black in his experiance it indicates a tncs but said well done for enquiring. I passed! Hooray!!

Plenty of good advice there. Glad to here that DNO and Supplier between them can eventually come up with an answer. In my limited experience, the DNO have been great if I have a job for them to do, but as far as questions about the installation are concerned, I may as well phone my mum!
