Hello all ,im after some advice please

im doing the C&G 2365 Level 2&3 then the 17th edition then the 2394/95
experience wise i have over 10 years of working as a mate .commercial /domestic

Just wondering what card if any i would get from them .

I got told that in order to get a card from them i must do the NVQ lvl3 with all the assesments & portfolio.

and also if i complete the 2365 lvl 2&3 plus the 17th and 2394/95 will this make me a qualified electrcian

many thanks and a happy new year

you wouldn't be graded as an electrician without the NVQ 3. Once completing 2365 levels 2&3 you would have to do the bridging units, AM2 and the portfolio to gain the NVQ level 3 2357 qualification. If you have also got the 2394/5 quals along with the NVQ 3 you would be eligible for an approved electricians card. If you had the 2365 level 3, employers sponsorship, evidence you was working towards the AM2 and NVQ3, sat the ECS test then you would be eligible for a stage 3 trainee electricians card.

That's a good straight answer Lee.

Newbie01, it is made very clear on the ECS Card website that without an NVQ3 you will not be granted the "Approved Electrician" card. They do make it very clear. As for what you would get without it, its not so clear.
