Me? not a lot, the odd pound or 3D Men only form the 80's (made me laugh , I had exactly the same one under my bed when i was a lad!)

Lad who used to work for me called me the other day, whilst rewiring a house, found a tin ion the loft, had top break it open... 3.3 K the lucky bleeder!!

A Rolex watch in a bag of food product. I put a note on the canteen board, “Anyone whishing to claim it back please come to my office, it’s in an envelope along with a P45!”
It went to charity.

Doing a refurb at AEI cables in sunny birtley we found a load of really old ****, The building was put up just after the war.
While serving my apprenticeship we did a rewire where the owners of the house were a lecturer and a councilor the woman was heavily pregnant. All the furniture had been put in storage apart from the bare essentials so it wasn't too bad but there were cotton wool balls with a residue of some sort of cream on them.
Then we found the instructions for the application of the cream and what it was for.
Tools back in boxes. Sparkys back in the van. Boss told to go visit and tell them to clear the health hazards. Yuk!!

frankie vaughn or marital aids are always a hoot! A tem of builders I know found a gay couples 'dungeon' and another working in abranch of Mercantile credit (years ago) found an envelope with 17.5 k in it. They handed it back, to which the staffs response was 'God that went missing 6 months ago!) They were, as you'd expect...GUTTED!

Used sanitary towels all over the loft. That lady didnt get her new shower.

On one job a box of the ladys toys fell on us as we moved a wardrobe. the guy i used to work with was a bit of a joker and picked one up and ran around the room waving it about right in front of the customer.

We used to got into work wondering what hed do each day to try and get us all sacked.lol

A full 1960s Kelvin-Hughes ships radar console on a pallet (weight 120kg), how the hell it got there is a mystery. This house was 50 miles from the sea and 35miles from the nearest river. The owners had lived in the house since the early 1970s and were totally unaware it was there.

Doing PAT testing in a solicitors office I found some interesting things under the desks, particularly in the HR department, where I found a whip. Not a horse or political whip, an S&M whip.

I found a £50 note when i was newly qualified. Was fitting a shower to a property where a woman had just moved in , had to find the stopcock to turn the water off. Lifted a loose board in the bathroom to see if i could see it and found a £50 note on the dirt underneath. Was paranoid for a few days that the new owner had put it there to test my honesty , but must have fallen out of the previous owners nest egg that was stashed there Lol.
£40 for me and £10 for the apprentice working with me . Happy days
