What kinds of jobs is an Ancillary Operative card good for?

I have worked as an electrician for over 7 years in my native Tunisia. I have a degree from a university there which was evaluated at NVQ 3 - 4 by NARIC. I have 17th Edition wiring, and the Health & Safety. I applied for a Gold ECS Electrical Installer card and got this instead.

What can I do with this?

I was hoping to open my own business doing residential electrical work.
