Mr Curnow

At college I have passed all the exams except the 204 and the 206 exam. I failed twice on both off them.

What would the 204 and 206 part of the practical exam be?

I really want to get through this, it's horrible when you see that you failed.

I was just about to go through it with some attachments to help you revise, but at 3am I find your last sentence too rude to bother with.We are not a request centre, try google for that.If perhaps you would like a discussion to take part on the subject you have requested then ask, don't 'tell'.

Sorry I was trying to get to the point because I find that I am getting a lot of off topic answers, I find it hard to see when I am being rude.

Can you tell me what the 204 and 206 exam is about please? I seriously don't know why I failed, the only problem I had was that I went overtime.

I am going to college next week to practice my retake coming up.

the 204 it the flourecent fitting test, taking measurements with meters with the capacitor in circuit and with it removed. You have to describe why the readings are different. also there are some measurements to take from a 3 pase supply across different phases. its a piece of **** and our lecturer guided us through it.

Well that's funny if I'm thinking of the right test, they marked me down as failing twice when I haven't even booked it a second time round. I don't know what is going on with my college. I will have to talk to them about it there.

Thanks for the post mate.

I asked my tutor at college, he said that the 204 exam is actually the practical preparation, I am going in on Thursday to draw some wiring diagrams and I have to describe the safe isolation procedure. Not too keen on wiring diagrams.
Have to draw a

2 way switch, 2 lights circuit.
3 double socket with a spur from the 2nd socket, radial.
SWA from double pole isolator supplying the consumer unit.

Help is always appreciated. :D
