Hi all,
This is my first post as a new member so thanks for having me. Basically I will try and keep it simple. I am thinking of returning to the trade after a long lay off and wanted to get the low down on the most appropriate qualifications for a self employed domestic electrician.
I did the old C&G 236 part 1 and AM1 back in 88/89 but then left to do somthing else shortly after i started the part 2.
I am in a privaleged position in that i dont need to earn a decent salery for the next 6 to 12 months and can get some good work experience with an NICEIC friend of mine.
I am thinking of going to do a full time cpurse which will include 2391 and a few other bits but the training centres want to charge a fair bit.
So, what do you guys reckon,
Ps, i have kept my hand in to some degree and have a lot of really solid engineering and building skills so not a complete novice.
I really welcolme your advice.
