got it from going to college one day a week in the first year of my electrical apprenticeship, i left after the first year.

[ElectriciansForums.net] what is this qualification worth?

is it worth anything?

Edexcel are an exam board for GCSE's and A-Level's aren't they?

I'm going too take a guess and say it's not worth much now. Would be best too go back too college and get the 2330 Level 2 + 3 from City and Guild's.

I don't think it's worth anything, it's only a certificate saying you have completed one of the modules that collectively make up the qualification, like the previous chap said you will have to start from scratch

in all likelyhood they will count towards a National Certificate in Electrical Engineering( level 3), i have some of those modules on mine from 2001, you may find the curriculum has changed from then though.

Unfortunatley it's a certificate of unit achievement, and not a qualification. So won't really stand up to anything IMO

You may be able to use it towards experience in a home study course like OU?? I'm not sure....

agreed with widdler...!! you would normally recieve a second certificate to say what course you did..

as he said he left after the first year so didnt finish the course, hence no second certificate, if he knew what the course was and it was still running(unlikely), he could enroll again and be exempt those modules.
