Can anyone help me identify this type of switch? I pulled it out of my church. Obviously someone previously painted over it, but it controls a quad box above it. Any help on the name of this switch and the type of tool used to control it would be helpful.

You my be better posting on a US-specific forum, also your pic is not in focus so hard to make out exactly what we are dealing with.

If I squint, it may be similar to the key switches used here in the UK. Usually on (emergency) lighting applications where power must be permanently connected.

Sleoanrd welcome to the forum I’ve never seen a switch like that but just have someone to put in a new 15 amp regular switch. All the tools you will need is a straight and Phillips screw drivers plus wire strippers but please don’t attempt this your self
