Hi everyone was just wondering what is your favourite or best tool, the one you could not live without? Was going to buy a cordless grinder or bosch multitool but cant decide, thanks andy

If you are doing a lot of domestic then it has to be the multitool, what a great piece of kit.

for now, get a mains powered angle grinder for about ÂŁ50.

I shall be buying the bosch cordless grinder soon, but I do have a few 3.0Ah batteries and will only need it for a bit of tray or basket here and there.

what sort of things would you use the multitool for apart from cutting sockets into plasterboard or floorboards etc? just interested thats all dont want to waste my money

That just it, you may well only use it for as you have listed for a while, but those back boxes will go in neater holes in that plaster board compared to the pad saw, floor boards are easier to get up after cutting the tongue a groove first without chisel marks.

You will be impressed at how quick it is.

I have used it to cut copper and plastic pipes flush to walls where a saw could not be used, trimmed laminate flooring and door stops before and used the sanding plate for the awkward bits on my stairs. The list goes on as I think about it more, but like a lot of tools, I may not use it for a couple of weeks, but it has saved me time and we all know time is money.

My bosch 10.8 lithium screwdriver if it broke or lost it would have to replace straight away its used every day ideal for fixing light fittings back boxes trunking the list is endless and my scutch chisel

I got agitated when I thought my screwdriver had been nicked, I immediately ordered the lastest version and the day it was delivered my mother text me and said I left it in her motorhome at the weekend, her and the misses said just send the new one back. I said I got it on offer and couldn't!! (little white lie is okay)

Just brought this kit recently.... worth every penny:)

bosch multi tool for me, you won't believe what u will think up to use it for. Only this week i used it to cut a nice neat slice out of some plaster coving. It popped back into place like a dream and a tiny bit of filler finished the job off.
