What do you find you biggest challenge of being an apprentice is?
What is the thing you dread the most that you would like to bounce some ideas about?
For me I would probably say the process of being just a labourer to being actually useful.
I remember my first ever job. It was a block of flats in Dalston, London. There was 26 flats if I remember correctly and for the first six months of my apprenticeship all I done was noggins and back boxes. Nothing else.
However on the final flat the electrician said I could spend as much tome wiring it as I wanted. I learned so much that week and really felt I had gone from being just a pair of hands to actually being useful.
What’s your story?
