Hello I have just passed my 17th edition, what does that entitle me to do workwise without having any other courses? Thank you

not a lot. if you are thinking of going down the house bashing route, you could join one of the scams. niceic,napit,elecsa, as long as you have all the necessary paperwork, test equipment, and know how to use it, they might just take your £400 or so and let you loose, but if you are serious, then you need 2330 and 2391, or whatever they're replacing them with, and at least 3 years living on fresh air, unless you are fortunate enough to get an employer to take you on as a trainee.

I dont quite follow the 3 years on fresh air bit. I work on generators and outside stuff at the moment>

the meaning was if you went full time college for the 2330, say. if you can do it part-time whilst still being employed, then go for it.
