Before having solar PV, my night-time consumption was probably 5-10% of my total (estimated 300kWh out of 3500kWh), but now, with my electricity consumption about halved due to solar, my night-time consumption is probably 15-20% (estimated 300kWh out of 1800kWh).

One side effect of the solar, was to make us more aware of our energy usage. So of the "reduction" in our electricity comsumption, perhaps 1400kWh is through solar and 400kWh through less waste on our part.
