Hello everyone, just looking for a bit of advice.
10 years ago I did an apprenticeship in aircraft engineering and got my level 3 nvq in aeronautical engineering. I then spent 7 years working as an aircraft mechanic.
Due to the late instability of the industry, and a craving to do something different, I have now accepted a position as an RME Technician with Amazon. Although it’s not too electrical heavy (largely just replacing and rewiring motors), I have decided that I really would like to move further into an electrical engineering based career.
What steps should I be taking to achieve this? Is it worth doing an HNC/HND like the at Teesside? Are there any other courses I can do?
Thanks!
