What size is this supply?

A relative in West Cheshire sent me this pic. He is contemplating having an EV charger and other electrical appliances fitted. He asked me if he has a 60A or 100A supply. From this pic, it looks like a 100A supply with 60A fuse fitted for some reason. He wants it to be 100A. Any ideas?

An update. He spoke with E-On about his supply. Two years ago when a smart meter was installed, he was with BG. The lady told him that the handover documentation tells them that when the smart meter was installed, the tails were changed from 16mm to 25mm and also documented that I he was upgraded from 60A to 100A. They left the 60A label on not removing it.

So all OK. I do hope there is a 100A fuse in there.

Are they seriously saying a smart meter installer uprated the supplier fuse?! Really?!

That is what they told him. The question is still there. Is teh fuse 60A or 100A? Maybe he should get Pablo from the DNO to have a look.

There is one way of knowing for sure…..


But it means deliberately overloading it, and noting what the DNO replace it with.
