Bit scared about reletting house till her man persuaded her to get Poles so far 9 months in only complaint she has had from other people in the block is that the poles clean the close at 630AM as hey work nights but they dont take turns they clean twice a week every week even during inspection I carried out for her I was impressed by cleanliness and condition even though its 4 guys you would think it was one woman suffering from OCD SOME "Tenants" can be good

unfortunately this will become more and more common for me as company i do work for has taken a very bad batch of properties on to its books!! plus side is more work but down side is its in crap places!!

You should see what they do to rented properties that are used as cannabis factories. Big holes in the floors walls and ceilings bypassed meters terrible damp damage due to high humudity etc. I have seen owners in tears at the damage.

was one on TV a while back. foreget the prog. damage est. at 20grand

I wont defend the actions of tenants, but sometimes some of the blame must fall on the shoulders of the Landlord. I work for a few Landlords, and 2 in particular are like chalk and cheese.

The first one has 3 HMO's and several 2 and 3 bed house that he rents out. He treats his tenant with respects, most are on benefits and drugs etc, and when i visit the properties to carry out work they fall over themselves to help me get my gear in, i never want for a brew. Ok the downside, the places can be a bit grotty but that comes with the job. I never get abuse, the Landlord gets no major problems from them either because if anything needs doing it gets done be it electrical or otherwise, and his payback is that the tenants look after the place, pay their dues

The second one, well i wont even go there, and he wonders why he gets nowt but aggro from his tenants and his contractors.

So its not always the tenants fault.

Cheers.........Howard
