im looking to purchase a new test kit.
and was just after a little help in deciding what one to go for.?? and where the best place is to purchase one?

has anyone got or used the metrel mi3000 easi plus test kit?

many thanks
Darren

Test Meter (site sponsors) are a good place to start. They have a matrix showing the products, features and costs.

Don't get the cheapest as its a very important purchase.

Edit: I have a Metrel Eurotest AT and the extra kit to test FRC's and its great.

I have a MI3000. Great little bit of kit for the money. Downsides are no data storage for later download, and you might get sneered at for it's "fisher price" colour scheme. Otherwise cannot fault it.

Mine has the data download function but to use it you'd need to be super efficient and do your testing precisely in the correct order.

I'm looking to build up my test kit before leaving my current employment to go SE. Does anyone know of any suppliers that could do short term finance or something?....

OP- now Megger have sorted out there issues I really fancy the 1730mft, looks a great bit of kit although expensive.
