i am testing a lv panel in a factory which has 20 ways feeding all each isolator for each piece of machinery. is it possible to still do a full test or can you not test live. therefore not gather a zs reading?

cheers

theres an isolator with 3 phase sockets underneath then to the machine? so take the zs at the sockets????

Spot on, if there was no socket then you would normally get a Zs at the isolator and do an R2 continuity check between machine and isolator just to prove cpc continuity.
