what to do next

i have just passed my 17th edition and woundering which body i should register with and i want to start working and thinking about getting on the building sites and i was just wanted to know if the building engineering services (BES) card or do i need a cscs card

you would be best to check out the websites to see who you want to join, its pretty much down to personal preference. i'm not to sure on the card situation but i would think the cscs card would be the way forward.

depending on your level of qualificatios, if you dont hold much then forget about the ecs card as you would be graded as labourer at the most, if this is the case then a standard cscs card would prob enable you to get access to site work and then working on the elctrical side would be down to the site manager wether he would allow it without the jib card.
