Saw this today whilst doing a EICR
Having crammed 8 cables into a 4 way junction box the installer decided to connect the CPC up on the back outside the box. None of it's sleeved either, Nupty! Standards are slipping :)

Hi White Armour.
Yeah I use Wago's all the time. I'll need to finish the EICR off and then hopefully the customer will give me the remedial's to do. To be fair there is a lot worse wrong. Thermal damage in a CU, the front missing off a 3 phase board and no RCD protection anywhere is currently higher up the priority list :)

There's times I wish the youngsters in the trade would remember electricity was around before the 17[SUP]th[/SUP] edition.
You say standards are slipping, I’ll agree, but which way are thay slipping?

It’s the lawyers leading the way now not engineers.

25years ago an electrician would issue a guarantee of his workmanship, not a wad of papers covering his arse!

Hi Tony.
Of course you have no idea of my age, so it was nice to be called a youngster.
The smiley face indicated that I was being jokey about standards slipping - at least that was my intention :)
