would appreciate your knowledge.
Thanks

they not supplying the gear? you would need continuity tester and insulation resistance tester megger MIT 300 but if you have the money i would go for a MFT1552 all in one

hope this helps mate

Does anyone actually use a multi-meter on a daily basis?
I've got one, and I cannot recall the last time I used it. I've got a Fluke Voltage/continuity tester, and a Multi-function for final testing, but have no use at all for the multi-meter.
Alan.

Use a multi meter very regularly as I do a bit of fault finding on various BMS systems.

Me to I would not be without my fluke plus it does not trip the RCD when testing domestics unlike my voltage test and I always forget so when I reference to earth I hear the RCD click (damm) also my multimeter is great on alarms.
So I have
1. Megger 1553
2. Fluke multimeter
3.Martindale voltage tester
4. Amp probe
5. led voltage tester

HI.

I came out of my time in 2000 and the electricians i worked with all had steniel combi checks which we all remember, in 2000 I bought a fluke t5-1000 multimeter, I have just had it calibrated after 11 years and believe it it never needed adjusting, fluke test equipmement is the best even though I have a megger mft1553 and cant fault this either I also have a fluke 25 its old but works very well.

Multimeter for alarms and electronics repairs (PC's, SAT boxes etc). Have to say it gets used a lot more than my clamp meter! MFT1553 for domestic testing though.

hi guy iv got a fluke 1651 multi tester 17th ed acceptable but current calibration has run out but still works fine an a seaward pat prime 50 like new still has wrap on screen comes with stickers and test book. any idea how much i could get for these.

only selling as dont use the and my elecsa is due to run out end of the month

CPC were doing the Seaward Primetest 50 for £185 ex Vat last month... Most places are looking for £200 for a new one.. NOT including testbook or stickers!
