what type of outlet for sky+??

can someone please advise me what type of front plate (outlet) to install when i have 2 coaxes for sky + in a single back box thanx

Either a single brush plate if the cable is long enough to reach the sky box directly, or a dual 'f' plug outlet.

thanks for quick reply. is the dual f type the threaded type (sorry if obvious but not clued up on arials n stuff)

Hi,
You can get twin screened outlets ( 2 x 'F' types) for Sky+ like this one from Toolstation for about a fiver.

Or could you not do it with 2 'F' type grid modules ?.

If the coax tails are long enough use a blanking plate and simply drill a couple of hles thread the tails through and terminate with 'F' plugs. Some installers don't like to have outlet plates as they say the signal can be adversly affected by introducing this connection.

I've used the above plates before with no problem.
