Just going through a domestic kitchen spec that I've got coming up.

And they've got electrical opening / closing touch sensitive drawers !! (and quite a few fancy other bits like a 5000 x 450 RGB LED glass splash back)

Should be fun anyone come across these before ?

Yes mate, Sigma have these heated drawers. Rated around 800W.

Sorry Len should have been a bit more specific there..... not a warming drawer, but ones which you just touch and they open / touch and they close !!

lucky you,my wifes got rcd knickers,slightest leakage and they trip,takes some resetting too..think i'll megger the cow see what the fault is.....:ninja:

Like most I have kitchen drawers that if you touch them they close - requires a small amount of force to do it as well mind. WTF is the touch thing meant to achieve there? Waste of money, unless a little timer is built in that it self closes after a few minutes.

Old hat now, I'm installing voice activated drawers "OPEN UTENSILS"

Just wired some up in a kitchen showroom, up and over type wall cupboard doors. Gentle press on the lower right corner and they open, press the switch again and they close. Glass base in the bottom of unit with a flouro to give under cupboard and in cupboard lighting too. German stuff, Nolte IIRC.
