Things are starting pick up and we should have our order books rapidly filling up over the next few weeks

It's definitely starting to pick up, and we've got a lot of quotes out at the moment, the question really is how early the rush really starts. I'm trying to encourage people to install as soon as possible to avoid getting caught up in a last minute rush, as I don't see prices falling any further between now and August, probably the opposite to some extent, and there could well be supply shortages if we do see a significant upsurge as most suppliers have seriously reduced their regular orders, so while existing stocks are good, there will be shortages of some items starting to have an impact in coming weeks IMO (already happening with a few items).

Interestingly, most of our installs seem to be using the mid priced options, so dirt cheap isn't necessarily the way to go with the quotes.

I expect to start firming up a lot of work this week and next, and starting to build up our lead time again.

Not uncommon over here for that mistake to still be made with twin brown. Seen a few circuits ripped out when 1.5 3C&E was lifted instead of 2.5 T&E.
