Fish and Chips, Local beers, Gloucester rugby, great sence of humour, dozens of slang accents on a tiny island, freedom of speech, seaside holiday parks, rarely see flys due to weather, community fairs, sunday lunch, garden centres, sweets and icecreams, lovely countryside etc etc, thoughts?

The Magna Carta, one of the best pieces of legislation ever written. The beer, the women folk, the countryside, the history which surrounds us all if only we take the time to look, the list is way too long for any of us to list.

What we do have is freedom of speech within the parameters of what the law says is acceptable. We are not allowed to cause harm or distress nor are we allowed to deliberately offend anyone (within reason)
Other than that you can say what you want so I'd say we're pretty free.

I am continuinously slagging off this government and I am not breaking any laws, do it in North Korea and you will get ripped apart by a pack of dogs, that is what makes me think we have freedom of speech here.
