Can anyone suggest a good next step with my electrical career? I have just completed my HNC Electrical Engineering. I have always been very intrested in electronics and DIY and have lots of personal experience of working on my own projects and doing electrical/DIY bits for friends and family. I got stuck in a few retail jobs after leaving school but decided to start pursuing electronics a couple of years ago. I have worked for two electrical engineering companies in supervisor and electrical assembly roles over the past two years. I have quickly progressed up to high level electrical assembly working right from circuit level up to large machinery. I want to progress into a role as an electrical installer or inspector. However, i'm really overwhelmed by all the city and guilds courses on offer. Which courses would be good to take to progress? I have saved up ÂŁ2500 to spend on courses and could finance more if necessary.

Many thanks in advance.
