Sorry mate but I disagree. The good people of Wooton Bassett did the right thing EVERY time the war dead passed through and I would do the same if they cam past my town.

As for those who say people can't ware uniforms as it will "offend", well stick two fingers up to them and wear uniform with pride.

Whats wrong with Britain?

well we have no heavy industry now, no ship yards, no car manufacturers, no major exporters, no gold reserves, we are also bankrupt and borrow more today than ever before, We have some tourism but not enough to maintain our economy, we have fallen out with Europe our main trading partners and are puppets of Russia who control our gas supply, we have far to many people for a tiny Island and we are at each others throats continuinously because we want and expect everything for nothing. That said we are a very proud nation who has a sence of humour no-one else in the World can match, we have lots of nice beers, fish and chip shops and yorkshire pudding, we also put up with the greedy Jocks, thats Britain, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

My thoughts? well I personally think we, that is the Government pander far too much to minorities and I don't mean that with any racist thoughts, if folk profess to be British then perhaps they should adhere to the British way of life, after all if I was to go to another country and gain dual nationality then I would be expected to, would act accordingly, or mind my own business and not interfere with the host countries activities. That's it like it or lump it.

Neither would I, I just thought it might be thought provoking, you have to admit some thing is amiss when the sort of things in the video happen, or don't you agree

Im not in the slightest bit racist but belief everyone should abide by the same rules and religion should not be a screen to make a mockery of our laws... my friends have posted a FB message shown at a petrol station where they hold a banner up asking is it racist if you have an opinion about the law makes them take off their helmets so they can be I'D'd etc but this apparently doesn't apply to religious head wear that covers the face. The government are too soft and tip toe around ethnic minorities so they don't become accused of been racist...

If I went to a Islamic state and the law and practices of that country meant I was subject to wearing a certain arrangement of clothes then I would so why do the Laws of our land discriminate against the general public in favour of not upsetting the muslim community, it is not in the Koran that they must cover their faces and this is backed up by the Muslim Imams who express its not a requirement but a personal choice so why do our laws buckle to their ways which are both a security issue and cause segregation.

We are a secular society and the government is secular so why are we bending over backwards to not seem racist ... its not racist to express that muslims should remove their face veils in public buildings ...anywhere else they can do as they please!

I watched a couple of minutes of it and started to wonder what your point was with this. As has been pointed out, the people of Wooton Basset have turned out in droves to pay their respects to every single member of the services who lost their lives and was repatriated through their town.

In my own home town a couple of years ago there was a funeral for a young Royal Marine. The entire route was lined with people from the services and civilian life, at the crematorium there was a guard of honour from his regiment, who also carried him into the crem, and from the Royal British Legion. This has been repeated up and down this country and in others many times so where your question comes from I have no idea.

Not sure what the truth is about the selly oak thing in the video and not being allowed to wear uniforms in public, where I am from we do not think like that, we are proud of our soldiers down here in Glos and support them 100%, I always thank a soldier for his or her service when I meet one, either in real life or on a forum.

No such law exists, it is a policy of some companies that they will not serve anyone wearing a helmet but that is not backed up by any legislation.

The law is blind, that is why the statue on the Old Bailey is blindfolded. It is the way certain laws are applied that is wrong. For example, if I were to walk around in public with my face covered I could rightly expect to have to explain myself to the police. However, how many EDL marches have you seen where people have had their faces covered and have not been challenged? So it would appear that if you are a member of ANY minority group you can get away with things that a middle aged white guy would not.

Totally agree that Muslims should remove their vails when in public places, however Muslims as a whole are now stereo typed and they must feel persecuted at times, they are about 5 million strong and therefore are general members of the public, I bet a small amount want sharia law yet the public are lead to believe they all want it, I think we segregate communities in the UK today and it can only get worse, I agree everyone should be treated the same and also agree at times we are soft on minorities and should be ready to stand up for everyone as a whole regardless of religion or skin colour, perhaps we should all calm down and stop thinking everyone is the same if a muslim, it isn't the case and I doubt the authorities tip toe around anyone who isn't white either, a lot of crap in the media as usual for some of it, not all but some of it and I like to keep an open mind myself.

How about the post office being sold for 3 billion under value, then half the staff made redundant weeks later and now the last post moved from 5-45 to 3pm, how did it all happen with hardly any press or tv coverage?
