When do I Use F/BIL ? | on ElectriciansForums

Discuss When do I Use F/BIL ? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

F= force in newtons B is tesla the density of the magnetic field I is current flowing in the conductor and L is lengthof the conductor in the magnetic field in metres
F= B x I x L

its for calculating force on a conductor
the force that moves the current carrying conductor that is placed in a magnetic field depends upon the strength of the magnetic flux density ( B ) the magnitude of the current flowing in the conductor ( I ) and the length of the conductor in the magnetic field
or transpose to find B = F / I x L
or transpose to find L = F /B x I
to do with electromagnetism

flemings left hand rule and all that lol
