Morning guys

Potted history first ,I work in IT for a living as part of my job my employer via seaward trained us on pat testing IT equipment have been doing it for ...several years including a few doing pat full time .
I have both the 2377 tickets and the 17th i sat and failed 2391 .
these courses are the only ones offered in main stream colleges north of the border other than the design course and the hnc (which i think you need to be doing an apprenticeship to take )

So heres my dilema i enjoy the electrical side of what i do ,

i would like to study further.

i am toying with heading south to do the five day 2392 course possibly with ets in brum they seem to get a good rep then perhaps resitting the complete 2391 but i am i correct in saying the 2391 is done in june/july as well?

i have approached the college in somersert england that does the 2330 by distance learning ,bear in mind this is not offered anywhere close to me .

i have heard that 2330 closes in june/july would i have time to finish these two levels before its completely axed.

another alternate might be hnc by distance ,my maths skills would just be able i think .

Go on guys give me some constructive advice or anyone local looking for a hard worker ?

You ask a lot of questions there mate, which is not a problem, dont ask, dont find out, but i would suggest having a look at the C&G website, they explain most of what you want to know, and it is from the horses mouth so to speak.

Phone select and ask what your options are.usually quite helpful.truth b told the short courses offered in England count for hee haw up here as ther is no domestic installer ticket or part p limited scope.ie u are either a sparks or u are not.try ur local college as well.best of British with it all.
